What is DC Fundraising and Why support it?
Every year the RHLS 8th grade class departs on a 7-day educational trip to the East Coast to visit Washington DC, Philadelphia, and New York. This long standing tradition is an amazing opportunity for our students to learn first hand about our country's history and a memorable way to end their journey together as RHLS students.
This trip however is a costly one for each family. Fundraising is done to offset the cost of the trip for those families that choose to participate in the fundraising efforts. These efforts include pizza and ice cream days, Fashion Fridays for DC, earthquake kits, school spirit wear, and Purse Bingo.
If you have RHLS alumni then you know how helpful these efforts are in helping with the trip costs. If you still have little ones, you will soon be in our shoes! In the meantime, we hope you will consider supporting our 7th and 8th grade students by participating in these fundraisers this year!
